•  my game is suppose t teach about a trout fish is eating all of the little fish.That's the bears  meal so when he eats the  little fish he is taking the food of the grizzly bear. they came by watching a movie about Yellowstone.We decided to pick one topic and we chose the trout fish. Tell us more about your team process. Please each talk about your specific roles, and how you work together.We researched alot an we spent most of the time everyday researching .Well the fishermen will fish all the big fish but  has t try not t catch the little fish.The flash tool in animation has really helped me and my partner.How to make the games in animation or how to make the boat move side to side and still  move the fish and the fishing line.

Darfur is Dying

1. What did you learn about Darfur by playing the game Darfur is Dying?That you have to survive in order to get water.The dad can never go for water because he would get caught he would be killed automatically.
2. In the game Darfur is Dying, you can choose to forage for water and use different characters. Are there differences in the characters? Why did the game designers make the characters have different abilities? Does this tell you anything about what is happening in real life?i THINK DARFUR HAVE CHARACTERS THAT NEED TO BE ABLE TO HIDE IN ORDER TO GET WATER.
3 .Another part of the game is to maintain camp. Do you think this was just for fun or was there another reason this is included in the game?I THINK IT WAAS INCLUDED BECAUSE YOU ARE SUPPOSE TO MAINTAIN YOUR CAMP LIKE FEED THEM WATER AND FOOD.4. Darfur! wat is goin on in Darfur ,HELP!!!!!!

I learned that in Darfur half of the people are either being raped, killed or kidnapped.I think that we should help them but it's also wrong that they get paid to kill innocent people.The game is cool because you get to explore the game and get to see what is really happening in Darfur.For me the most effect was watching the movie because it's not just characters it's real people goin to Darfur and seeing them saying that people are gettin raped or killed.Well that all I have to say.

Playing to Learn

I like the gravitee wars because it is fun. It has compotition and stradegy.I also like the grafics. The game is long like a journey.Every level you get a reward.You unlock new weapons.That's all .

Be The Change

I was ok I felt kind of tired because of Friday was a busy day.I would like to be apart of a service learning project were we go out and look for different kinds of animals and help their enviorment.I would like to be in a project were we could run and be active for at least a Saturday a month.My project was to help the trees by putting molch around the stem of the tree.It was cool because we worked but we got to hang around with our friends.That the end of my blog.

Minigame

I really like this part because it help us get to memorize the codes and put those codes to our official game.I would really like to do this again but with another set of characters.The most that i really liked was the pizza how to make it lose points if you touch the pizza.I really liked this project i hope to do it again some time later.

Children of Heaven :/

    The summary was about Ali.How he lost him sister's shoes an he has to share with his sister.He enters into a race an wants to come in 3rd but he finishes in 1st.Ali always wore the same thing everyday because he was poor.He was worried about his mom because she was getting sick.Ali would always get late to school because his sister would have his shoes to wear to school.
      Before i watched this movie i thought that all Muslims are terrorist but in the movie they aren't.I also thought that all men wore the long robs but they were wearing normal clothes like we wear.I thought that all Muslims wear guns on their back but they don't.I also thought that they lived in a dessert and the didn't have cars but they don't live in desserts an they do have cars.

Cyber Bully

I learned that cyber bulling is very bad and can make a person really feel bad to the point were he or she want to do suicide thoughts.No i have not cyber bullied before online.YES i have been a victom before.To blocked them or tell a trusted adult.To stand up for her an not just stand there and do anything.The movie was cracky but i learned alot I just have to find the ideas in my head i have no ideas left.Bye.........I also want to tell every body that to not do cyber bully becauze it will bite u somewere along the road.

first week of school=)

The first day of school waz ok because i havent seen my friends in a long time.I saw all my freinds and said hi too all my frineds we got to know what we all did this summer.I think this week went ok but some teachers just tick me off an i really cant stand that .i really dont have anything else to say but too have a new great week next week.

Plan B

Today I am writing about Plan B. I am writing about this group because they make songs about love. It is very cool to sing along to. My friand Victor Aragon introduced me to this group. The first song I heard was "Si no le contesto" remix and original. The second one was "Es un secreto".I rerally enjoy them and their music. Apollo 13 :-)

The most dangerous mission in the history in NASA.When they went up into space the launch thing was destroyed in space.The whole right side was destroyed. So the people at base at Houston were trying to find a way out to make them go to the moon.So the bottom line is that they needed to get the astronauts back to Earth.The magel was suppose to only land on the moon but they needed it to take it to the atmosphere.They made it back safley and the president made a ceremony.

Chapter oneof the book the lightning thief was just about this boy named Percy Jakson.He went o this feild trip with his class,to a museum.He was listening to the algebra teacher.will Percy was trying to listen to the teacher, Percy's enimie Nancy,was over there talking to other people when Percy said"shut up".But, she didn't hear him.So she just kept talking,then he said it louder so that everybody could hear it."WOULD YOU JUST SHUT UP"!!!!!,then the teacher said "Mr.Jackson do you have something to say"." NO"he said in a low voice.Thats all to the point that i am at.

SIX FLAGS

Today I'm writing about a place that I'm going to go in the summer.The best two rides was the tornado and the goliath.They weren't that scary but was really high.I can't belive that you have to wait like 30 mins. just to get on a 1min. ride.there was a short time of darkness. Your Game Is Finished!

first of all I am so proud of my self and my team especially Anjelica for staying late after school so that she can finish the game.I really think that we made some really good effort in to the game.I really was hoping that my two freinds beto and victor were going to be nominated.I really want to do another project with my team.

SUMMER!!!!!!!!!

OH! Summer is almost here , and when I hear Summer I think of swimming the sun and relaxing, unless teachers give us homework.When we do go out for summer I will like to get away from school but I don't want to leave my Friends or my soccer teammates.I will practice and learn new tricks in soccer,also in BLACK OPPS!!!! I will play black opps when the pros. get online.I will murder them in the match and I will be able to rest alot and not have to wake up early to go to school.That was my blog.

Stand And Deliver

I really liked this movie because it was about this group of kids that were coming from poor schools and were encouraged to learn stuff that they did not get during middle school.It was also about race because they were Latino and they thought that Latinos would cheat on the test.The story was bassed on a true story.Those kids worked really hard to study for the AP test and also came in the summmer.they stayed late and came at 6 in the morning to summer school.They all passe and they went on to college.I really recommened this movie to people who like happy stories.

Big Test

TAKS testing is next week! How do you feel about the TAKS test? Are you excited? Are you nervous? Are you going to do something special when TAKS is over?
I am kind of freaked out but I am going tokick the CRAP out of the taks test.Yes I am excited but it is stupid because it just takes a whole day out of the week that you have learned over the year.Yes I am nervous because I see other people finishing early and I say to my self I need to take my time and don't rush.Yes When I get my scores in and if I pass I will go celebrate at Gattie town or at Austin Parks and Pizza.

iPads for kids

What is your opinion of students using technology like the iPad in their classroom? What are some advantages of this type of technology? What are some of the disadvantages?
My opinion is that you can use the Ipad in class because you don't need paper or pencil to bring to the class .Some disadvantages are that you might get addicted to the Ipad and want to use and rile on it for the rest of your life.Some others are that you will not want to write any more and only type for homework and tests.That was my opinion on the article.

The Blinde side

This movie is about this guy named Michael Oher and these boys where asking him if he wanted to be in the gang,but he said no.So he has no place to stay and so he life's on the street.He only has two pairs of shirts.The lady is "Sandra Bulik"but plays the roll as Leigh Ann Tuohy was asking him if he had a place to stay and he said no.So Leigh Ann Tuohy told him come live with us.So he was staying with them and then they asked him if he wanted to be part of the family.He played football and he started to play professional football.He graduated college and was a successful.

B-cube

This games was awesome because all it is teaching you is to learn from your mistakes.All you have to do in this game was to hit all the cubes and make it to the red cube.The purple ones mean that you can hit it twice.The yellows mean that they will give you more land.Finally the blue means that you will fall but take you to the other place.That is all I did for the game,Also try the game it's really good.

THE WIZARD

This movie is about how this boy named Cory and he has a younger brother named jimmy.Jimmy has a disease where he can barley talk.He was walking on the desert and he said"california".The cops got him and took him to his mother.His half brother Cory just found out that Jimmy is going to the house to get treated.Cory came to the house and took Jimmy and told him "lets go run away just you and me."Cory's dad is looking for him but he just now he got informed that he ran awsy with Jimmy.They were walking and sometimes were on the skate board that Cory brought with him.They arrived into a little town called "GoblinValley".They went to the bus station to buy tickets.They met this girl named Haley.Haley got them a ride.Jimmy is a real good gamer and he won lots of games and was winning money from people.They didn't have a place to stay so they stayed in a junck yard.When they woke up they were looking at a map and the bikers gave them a ride to this arcade and they were vs. a kid who is going to the video games armagedan.Jimmmy was practiceing and practicing for the championship.When he went to the armaggedan he won 50,000dallors.After that jimmy cory andhaley were all friends.

Spring Break

What I am going to do over the break is go visit my family in Corpus Cristy.I am also going to  play with my cousins in soccer.Well I really don't want to do this boring homework from Ms.Estrada or from Ms. Bailey.I am also going to go to the austin rodeo to go to the carnival and to eat there.I hope I will have a great time there.That is al I am going to do and that is my plan.

Why we can't go outside

Well this period was staring to get awesome until Ms.Valdez said'hey i'm back from my confrence so let's go back minside.What really sucks was that we went out was trying to play for 2 minutes and Mr.JB was trying to take attendence.I said 'that is really not fair.

The inventor of Globaloria

What I learned was that Globaloria was amade up game.You can be a really good inventor if you just stik with it and never give up.She and her team are sometimes messing up and are learning new things like we are.They are really intellagent and nice.That's what I learned. 

Paper Prototype Reflection

The paper prototype really helped us plan how we were going to make our game.Well what we wanted to do was try to make the game look real like you where the actual person.We wanted it at the persons point of view.So for example like "Call Of Duty Black Opps".It just letted us be able to make the characters and place look real.That's how it help us and our ideas to become one.

The weekend

When I get home from school I start to set up the ps3 and play "CALL OF DUTY BLACK OPPS".I will play the game until I have to eat or when I get tired.The disadvantage is that you get addicted to it and you won't stop until you pass the level or the game.The hardest level was that you always get a gun and the main person that you have to kill is the scientist hat brain washed you to kill your own president kenedy.Well that is all i'm going to do this weekend

what I liked about this game was that it taught you how the people live and suffered in camp Aushwitz.What was entresting was that the jews were tricked into thinking that they were going to get a job.That is all and I really learned a lot in this game.

Malcom X Part 2

     Malcom X was a spok person for the muslems.When he had so much power some of his muslem people were betraying him.Elijah Muhammad Got two women pregnant and said that wasn't his children.One lady had three and the other had one.Later on in the movie Bing(who Malcom X met in prison)is jealous because Malcom had to much power.So,when Malcom was trying to protect the muslems they got money and bought new houses,cars and, cloths.But, nobody gave any money to Malcom they just forgot about him.Later on Malcom was making a speech about Jhon F. Kennidy and how the white men killed him because he was helping M.L.K. 
      Months went by and Malcom decided to visit Egypt and they welcomed him with Honer.Malcom said to take him to the pyramids and two white people were following him.The next place he was visiting was Meka.He went their and he saw black, white, and all kinds of different raise.They all drank from the same cup.He realized that Elijah Muhammad was teaching the wrong thing.SO he was making a speech in an additorium in new york city.When this guy got mad at Malcom for stealing his thought these guys came up to him and killed him.After that the word was out and the people were in jail.That is my summmary of Malcom X.

Reflection

1. Describe your team's game topic and talk about the most important concept you want your players to learn. My teams topic is on this camp called Aushwitz.Our concept is to teach the players what the people in the city were not informed about .

2. How did the ideas you discussed in "Imagining Your Game" come together to help your team decide on a game topic? We resarched the camp and got information about it.3. Tell us more about your team by saying who has what role, and how you work together.
I looked for artifacts and pictures from the camp aushwitz.Anjelica planned the game and Naomi resarch the topic and videos.

4. What kind of research did you do to find information to express the game topic? Examples: books, films, web searches....etc. We found information from wikipedia and google.We also found it in videos.

6. Has this changed since you first started planning your game? How? Yes because we have changed the time of year and the characters.We have also changed the scene and the escape plan.That is all we have changed.

5. Explain the game play. What does the player have to do? Wel l the player is trying to escape the camp to everybody what was going on in the camp.But you have to becarful with the nazi soilders so that they don't catch you.

How has your opinion of computers, technology, and video games changed since the beginning of the school year?
Now that I know how flash works and how to copy a picture by tracing it. When I am looking for something on the computer I know where and how to find something.I can also try to fix some problems on the computer.I  really can make a game but I need help making it realistic and point of view.That is alot of stuff that I have learned.

Globaloria Reflection

1. One thing I have learned in Globaloria is that I can make a game  from planning into flash.2. My favorite thing about my Globaloria class is that my teacher Ms.Valdez let's us have a wiki so we can create our page and be able to talk to people.3. I think being in Globaloria now will help me in the future because when I need to use flash I know what I need to do.

hot ballroom dancing

This movie is about how some of these people are improving on their attitude,because how they inter act with their dance partner.They said that this boy could have been on the streets.He could have been a thoug or in drugs but when they put this program in his grades and attitude went up.What the main message of the movie is when you put your mine to something you can achive it.That is my summmary for the movie

Malcom X

Malcom X is in the year of the Silva rights movement.It's about how his dad was killed by this crew.Malcom's mother was so white because a white man raped her.So she could eat at a white restaurant and not be noticed.He grows up and plays the lottery.The numbers were 821,128,218, so this man told him the numbers if not Malcom will get shot.If he lied that means he remembers if not that means he forgot.That was my summary on Malcom X.

Mad Hot Ballroom

Mad hot ballroom is about how these kids at different schools are competing in dancing to go into the finals.They are practicing really good and did it well.I would think that would be hard to do because you would need to memorize the routine and when to start.I wouldn't be in this club because I don't like to dance and in front of people.that is my summary on mad hot ballroom.

My dreams for the future

when I grow up I would want to be an NFL.I would have my Jersey, my pads, and my cleats.I would have a helmet and have gloves.I would see my team mates getting pumped up for the game.I will see my coach telling us the plays.I would live in Miami and own a machine.I would own a Ferrari and be a rich guy.I would be the all star and have graduated form college.That is all I would think of my future.

MY WEEKEND

My weekend is going to be awesome.What I am going to do is play my X-BOX360 .We are going to play Black Opps and UFC that is all I am going to do.I am also going to chill out and play soccer and football.That is all. 

TEAMS

Some advantages are that we can share our ideas and make all of them into one game.Some disadvantages are that our team does whatever.They also can't be able to work because some people are talking to another group.What I like personally is that when there is a project that is really hard you have team mates that can help you.Some things that can make challenging when being with a group is that when you assign you partner some things they sometime get confused and start to do nothing and get lost. PLAY TESTING

What we could improve on is that we could have made more levels and make it harder.Another thing we could have done is make it 3-D.The other thing we could have done is make the game from the point of view.That is all we could have done.

The Pact

This movie is about how three boys lived in a bad neighborhood.Where there was a lot of bad things and wasn't so safe.what I have learned is that back than only 1% percent of African Americans became a doctor.What these three boys want to do is to spread the word that any one no matter what color you are that you can still become what ever you want just as long as you work hard for it.When they were growing up both of their parents were on drugs.So then later their dad said that he is not going to do drugs ever again.No the dad has been drug free for 7 years.Anyways all this movie is trying to tell you this is about the three boys wrote a book about their child hood and how they became doctors.

What I have been doing this week is trying to finish my game .What it is called is survivor,what we have done so far is to do the paper prodotype and finish it.It is really fun trying to do a game and you learn new things every day.It looks awesome from what we have done this week.I really can't wait till me and my crew finish the project wish us luck.

This book is about how this boy was hanging around with three Friends and one got shot in the back the boy saw but was in to much of shock.The other two boys plammed him for the murder but he did nothing.He confessed that he did it so that would leave him alone.Now he is in prison for something he didn't do for life or sent to the electric chair.But they sent him to an alone cell  and he starded to think man I was hanging out with the wrong crownd and look where it got me to.Now what he can only do is wait until he gets let go.The rest of the storie you will have to read it on youur own.

WINTER BREAK

What I did over the winter break is that I went to Disney world.i went to the 4 parks that where called the animal kingdom, the magic kingdom, Epcot, and Hollywood studios.What you could do at the Hollywood studios is go to the race car show.What it is that they are making a movie and the stunt drivers are drifting and the enemies are trying to get the hero who is running away from these guys so it comes out really cool.The next place you should go is animal kingdom.What it has there is that there is a safari trip that takes you around and show you elephants,lions, girrafes,and hippos.the next and the best place to be is the magic kingdom .What you need to go to is the space roller coaster.It takes you way up and you can't see anything the only thing you can see is the space and you hear people screaming.the next is the monsters inc laugh room.Well that is all I did this Winter break.
